An assessment on the Perception of Productivity of Remote Scrum Teams

Because of the abrupt change to working remotely due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, Agile Teams had to move to a remote environment. Agile methodologies and Scrum (the focus methodology of this research) rely on team interaction, spirit, and collaboration to deliver working software. Because in remote working interaction is lower, there is a chance that productivity might be affected. The aim of the project is to assess the perception of productivity of scrum professionals in a remote working environment. In this sense, this survey aims at finding answer to the following research questions:

Based on industry professional’s perceptions, should Scrum Teams continue to operate remotely?

Have different roles within a Scrum Team changed when changing to a remote environment?
