Participant Information

The goal of this research project is to better understand how digital platforms can be used to create connections and communities of inquiry amongst healthcare professionals. To do this researchers are testing the Community of Inquiry Model (COI) for online learning which proposes that for a community of learning to take place in digital median three elements must be present:

  1. A cognitive presence
  2. A teacher presence and
  3. A social presence

This study is looking specifically at how a social presence is created in the digital platforms that are being used to host the Global Online Seminar for Nurse Leadership and Collaboration. To see the full participant information sheet click here.
